Young Fauna Frolicking in Carlton Marshes Wetlands

Discover the wonders of nature with your little ones at the upcoming Wild Tots event at Carlton Marshes Nature Reserve & Visitor Centre! This holiday session, designed for children aged 6-11 years old, promises a day filled with outdoor activities, games, free play in the woods, and crafts.

The event takes place on Burnt Hill Lane, Lowestoft, Suffolk NR33 8HU, and runs from 10.30am to 12pm. To secure your child's spot, booking is essential as places are limited. The cost is £28 per child, but funded places will be available soon through a scheme called eequ.

Children are encouraged to dress for the outdoors, with suitable clothing and footwear, preferably long trousers. A healthy vegetarian lunch and snacks will be provided, but it's important to inform the organisers if your child may not like the menu.

The event is wheelchair accessible, and bicycle parking is available at the Carlton Marshes centre. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on leads due to a Public Space Protection Order. For full event terms and conditions, visit the Suffolk Wildlife Trust event info page.

This event offers an opportunity for children to explore and learn about nature and wildlife in a safe and supervised environment. Suitable outdoor clothing and footwear, including wellies, are recommended for the session.

For queries or booking, contact the organisers at 01502359480 or email [email protected]. It's advisable to contact the organiser before booking if mobility is a concern.

Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for updates, and remember to bring a snack and drink for your child. The meeting point will be communicated closer to the event date.
