The workshops, open to individuals of all ages, will take place throughout June. Here's a rundown of the schedule:
- Wednesday, June 6: 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM

- Wednesday, June 13: 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM
- Saturday, June 2: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Sunday, June 10: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Saturday, June 9: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Each session will last approximately one hour and will include a demonstration, a presentation on Takeo Paper Company and its history and products, a selection of 50 different colored papers, and a group photo.
Torafu Architects, known for their innovative design projects that often explore the use of materials such as paper in creative ways, developed the "air vase" concept in collaboration with Takeo Paper Co., Ltd., a major Japanese paper manufacturer. The "air vase" emphasizes simplicity, sustainability, and aesthetic appeal.
Workshops typically focus on paper craftsmanship and functional art, allowing participants to experience the design firsthand.
Please note that registration for these workshops has closed. For those interested in future events, we recommend checking Torafu Architects’ official website or Takeo Paper Co., Ltd.'s announcements directly for the most up-to-date event information.
The first series of workshops took place in April, with dates including:
- Friday, April 13: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
- Saturday, April 14: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
- Saturday, April 21: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
