Winter swimming season begins at Saarbrücken baths

Hey there!

Summer's almost over – that means the outdoor pool sessions are coming to a close, but don't sweat it! Indoor swimming is just around the corner. Starting Tuesday, September 12, dive into the inviting waters at the indoor pool in Dudweiler, if you can't bear to say goodbye to those cool, refreshing laps just yet. In Fechingen, though, the indoor pool's winter hours will kick off a day earlier, on September 11.

While the Dudweiler outdoor pool has already closed its gates, fret not if you can't get enough of the outdoors. The "Toto" pool in Schwarzenbergbad is still open until September 12, from 12:30 to 19:30. You can still enjoy the sun, sea, and chlorine until then.

Up until September 10, you can still soak up some rays at the outdoor area of the combination pool in Fechingen, with summer opening hours from 9 to 20. After that date, the weather gods permitting, the sun terrace will be open during the winter hours.

The combination pool in Altenkessel has already welcomed swimmers with winter hours since September 4. The outdoor area will stay open until mid-September, depending on the whims of Mother Nature.

With the arrival of the winter swimming season, the Aqua-Fitness courses are making a comeback. For an exciting lineup of these fun and effective classes, head on over to the baths' homepage at www.saarbruecker-baeder.de/kurse.

While we couldn't find specific winter opening hours for indoor pools in Dudweiler, Fechingen, and Altenkessel from the search results, remember that these locations are part of the Saarbruecken region in Germany, which normally experiences cold winters. Pro tip: contacting your local pool management directly would help you secure the most accurate information on opening hours. On the bright side, you can check out other nearby areas at the SaarSchleifenLand website, such as the Dora-Rau pool in Wadern[1].

Stay afloat – happy swimming!

As the cooler weather approaches, don't forget to switch your focus from the outdoors to a cozy home-and-garden lifestyle. You can still enjoy the relaxing ambiance of an indoor pool at the Fechingen location, starting from September 11. To maintain a healthy lifestyle, consider enrolling in Aqua-Fitness courses once the winter swimming season commences, which you can find on the baths' website at www.saarbruecker-baeder.de/kurse.
