Legoland Korea Introduces New Water Attraction for Summer 2022
Legoland Korea, the much-anticipated theme park located in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, has unveiled a new water attraction for the summer of 2022. The expansive splash zone, named "Marina Jets Bay," is designed to provide a unique and exciting experience for families during the warmer months.
The heart of Marina Jets Bay is an interactive floor fountain that spans over 100 square meters. This impressive feature boasts 150 nozzles that shoot water up to two meters high, creating a spectacle that is both visually stunning and fun for all ages.
Marina Jets Bay can accommodate up to 200 visitors at once, making it a popular destination within the park. To accommodate nighttime guests, Legoland Korea extends its operating hours by an hour during Saturday evenings.
During the summer season, the fountain operates in 10-minute intervals for nearly an hour each day. Visitors can enjoy the synchronized water jets, accompanied by a lively mix of Lego theme music and K-pop hits, as part of the festive atmosphere created by daily live DJ sets and dancing performers.
In addition to the Marina Jets Bay, Legoland Korea has extended its evening programming until August 16. The "Evening Ticket," priced at 35,000 won, allows guests to enjoy the park's attractions, night views, and entertainment at a reduced rate.
The construction of Marina Jets Bay cost approximately 1.7 billion won ($1.2 million), making it a significant investment in enhancing the overall visitor experience at Legoland Korea. The attraction is located in the park's City zone, between Wave Racers and Coast Guard Academy rides.
Legoland Korea plans to continue expanding its seasonal attractions to offer special experiences throughout the year. With the successful introduction of Marina Jets Bay, it seems that the park is committed to providing its visitors with unforgettable memories and fun-filled experiences.
