It's about time for some fun and games! The BSV "Vivat" Löhnen is hosting the shooting festival, where every two years, the competitive shooters in the Voerder district vie for the wooden eagle. This year, the festivities take place from June 6 to June 9, and it's guaranteed to be an action-packed weekend!

June 6: Gear up, Voerde! The village and festival tent will be decorated, and the current monarchs, Jens and Heike Czybulka, will be picked up at 13:00. The procession, accompanied by music, will commence in the afternoon, followed by a grand military tattoo and traditional parade.
Get ready for an exciting evening with the first-time performers, Mainstreet, from Vreden, who are known for their electrifying shows at various shooting festivals. The festival tent admission fee is 10 euros.
Crowning Ceremony and Highlights
June 8: The day begins with a festival procession through Löhnen, followed by the welcoming and honoring of guests of honor and jubilarians. The main event—the bird shooting and coronation shooting—kicks off at 16:00, where the new rulers of the village shooters will be crowned. The coronation ceremony is scheduled for around 18:30. Post-coronation, the march into the festival tent will occur, and DJ Holger will commence the dance music at 20:00.
Comedy Program on Pentecost Monday
June 9: Get ready for a side-splitting experience! This year, the festivities include a comedy program featuring Heike Becker, also known as "Die Becker" from the Dinslakener "Thekentratsch" comedy duo. The show starts at 16:00 in the festival tent. Tickets (17 euros) can be purchased in advance or at the box office.
