VW affiliate presents new incentive for employees - Emphasizing Significant Worth
In a forward-thinking move, both Porsche and Volkswagen have established company kindergartens to support their employees.
At Porsche's Swabian headquarters, a new kindergarten named "Turbo Kids" has been built. Spanning approximately 2,000 square meters, both indoors and outdoors, Turbo Kids can care for up to 80 children. The kindergarten is situated in the heart of the Porsche campus, providing a convenient location for working parents.
Porsche places a significant emphasis on the compatibility of work and private life, and the Turbo Kids kindergarten is no exception. Offering a flexible and pedagogical concept tailored to working parents, the kindergarten aims to noticeably relieve parents in their daily lives.
The kindergarten boasts a sustainable overall concept, with a nature-oriented design. It fosters children's environmental awareness from an early age, aligning with Porsche's commitment to sustainability.
Porsche collaborates with a care service provider for the operation of the Turbo Kids kindergarten. Parents can leave their eight-week-old babies at the kindergarten, even on a shift basis from 5.30 a.m. if necessary.
Meanwhile, Volkswagen also offers childcare facilities. While there is no in-house kindergarten at the main plant in Wolfsburg, employees do have access to holiday care programs. Volkswagen's kindergarten in Braunschweig, however, caters to around 90 children.
In a related development, Kia is offering a free test drive for its EV6 GT-line electric crossover. The free test drive includes a highway assistant, premium relaxation seats, and 325 PS. Instructions on how to claim the free test drive can be found in the linked article.
Porsche and Volkswagen's initiatives underscore their commitment to supporting their employees and promoting a healthy work-life balance.
