VinFast Partners with Castrol India for Reliable EV After-Sales Support in India

VinFast, the Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, has partnered with Castrol India to ensure reliable after-sales support for its customers in India. The collaboration, announced through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), aims to provide comprehensive service solutions through Castrol's extensive network.

VinFast will establish 35 dealerships across 27 cities by 2025, supported by multiple leading dealer groups. These dealerships will offer advanced diagnostics, genuine parts, and digital-first support solutions, raised in collaboration with Castrol. Castrol, with its three blending plants and wide distribution network reaching over 150,000 retail outlets, will ensure VinFast customers have access to convenient and reliable after-sales care.

Castrol will make selected Castrol Auto Service (CAS) workshops available to VinFast customers, featuring dedicated VinFast-branded service bays and certified EV technicians. VinFast will provide service manuals, diagnostic tools, training, and warranty coverage processes, while Castrol will ensure workshops meet infrastructure and capability standards. This collaboration is expected to strengthen customer confidence in VinFast's EV offerings.

Mr. Rajeev Govil, Senior Vice President, India B2B, Castrol India, expressed excitement about supporting VinFast and its EV customers through this collaboration. Mr. Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of VinFast Asia, stated that India represents a long-term commitment to building an inclusive EV ecosystem with reliable after-sales care. VinFast's first overseas assembly facility in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, with an initial capacity of 50,000 vehicles annually, scalable to 150,000 units, further solidifies this commitment.
