September 2025 Disney Plus Releases - Not-to-be-missed Movies and Series
Get ready, Disney+ subscribers! September is packed with a plethora of new shows and series that are sure to keep you entertained. Here's a rundown of what's coming your way.
Kicking off the month on September 2, Minnie's Bow-Toons: Pet Hotel (Season 1) will be available, offering a fun-filled adventure for all ages. For those who enjoy animation, How Not to Draw: Shorts (Season 4) will premiere on September 12.
For action-packed series, mark your calendars for September 5. Road Trip: Shorts (Season 1) and Lost Treasures of Egypt (Season 6) will both be available, promising thrilling episodes to keep you on the edge of your seat.
On September 10, a host of new releases will grace your screens. To Catch a Smuggler (Season 9) and Traveling with Snow Man (Disney+ Original) - Episode 4 will be available, while the political conspiracy series Tempest and Disney+: Top Guns: The Next Generation (Season 1) will premiere with all episodes. Tempest is a collaboration between Imaginus, Showrunners, AA, and Skydance, directed by Kim Hee-won and Heo Myeong-haeng, and written by Jeong Seo-kyeong.
Disney+ and Hulu will also premiere Tempest (Hulu Original) with three episodes on September 10. The series will continue with Episode 4 & 5 on September 17 and Episode 6 & 7 on September 24.
For fans of live-action remakes, "Lilo & Stitch" will be streaming on Disney Plus on September 3, offering a fresh take on the beloved animated original.
On September 12, How Not to Draw: Shorts (Season 4) will premiere, and Electric Bloom (Season 1) will debut with thirteen episodes on September 17.

Lastly, Disney+: Random Rings: Shorts (Season 4) will premiere on September 19, and LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy: Pieces of the Past will be available with all episodes on the same day.
