Renovation of Dubinsky Square in Krasnodar City has now been finished

In the heart of Krasnodar's Central District, between Shevchenko and Kovtyukha Streets and Konstantinovsky Lane, lies Dubinsky Park – a much-loved green zone for local residents. After a comprehensive renovation, the park is now open and ready for the community to enjoy.

The revamped Dubinsky Park boasts a host of new features, making it an ideal spot for relaxation, recreation, and socialising. The children's playground surfaces have been renewed, offering a safe and enjoyable space for children to play and engage in sports. Pedestrian paths have been paved with paving stones and bordered with curbs, making it easier for mothers with strollers and elderly residents to enjoy a leisurely walk in the fresh air.

Elena Malova, head of the Central District administration, emphasised the importance of Dubinsky Park as the only green zone in the area. She noted that before the renovation, mothers with strollers and elderly people could not enjoy walks near their homes, and children living in private houses were unable to play and engage in sports.

The renovation of Dubinsky Park was made possible through the "small deeds" program initiated by local residents. As part of this community-driven initiative, the park now boasts 23 lights and 17 benches, ensuring comfort and safety for visitors.

In addition to Dubinsky Park, the beautification of Nicholas Vatutin Park in the Western District is currently underway, also as part of the "small deeds" program. The plans for Nicholas Vatutin Park include the construction of a sidewalk, installation of children's and sports equipment, and the creation of a parking area.

With 21 trash cans strategically placed throughout the park, Dubinsky Park is now a clean and welcoming space for residents of Krasnodar to relax and unwind. As the summer months approach, the park promises to be a popular destination for locals seeking a green oasis in the city.
