Refurbished: Iconic Kenyan Safari Properties by Elewana Collection
In an exciting development, the Elewana Collection has recently announced significant updates at two of its Kenyan safari properties - Elsa's Kopje Meru and Elephant Pepper Camp. These enhancements aim to elevate guest experiences while preserving the heritage and natural essence of each property.
At Elsa's Kopje Meru, located in Meru National Park, the lodge perched dramatically above the savannah, guests will find a transformed retreat. The guest suites now boast bespoke furnishings, Nero-finished floors, and reimagined lighting, enhancing comfort and luxury. The lodge's heart and soul remain intact in the communal areas, but they have been elegantly enhanced for improved comfort.
The new additions include a refreshed pool area, an expanded spa space, a sundowner deck, and an outdoor cinema. The sundowner deck offers evening G&Ts with a view over Meru's wilderness, and the outdoor cinema will screen the film "Born Free." The main and private pools have been refinished with terrazzo tiles, and the spa has been expanded for more spacious wellness rituals. The refined tent interiors and reimagined communal spaces have been introduced, enhancing the camp's luxury and comfort.

The camp has a new culinary direction celebrating Kenya's rich gastronomic traditions, introducing the "Elephant and Pepper" fire-cooking concept, featuring smoked meats, ember-roasted vegetables, and smoke-infused cocktails cooked over acacia wood.
