The Youth Guest House in Rödinghausen is set to host a thrilling holiday camp for children between the ages of 8 and 12. The camp, organised by the Herford district and the Youth Guest House in cooperation with the Helden e.V. association, will take place from October 20 to 24, 2025.
The focus of the holiday camp will be on nature and the outdoors, making it an ideal opportunity for children to connect with the environment and learn about the wonders of the world around them. Activities will include birdlife exploration, exploration games in the woods, and a night walk under the stars.
Participants will also learn how to use binoculars, a valuable skill for observing wildlife up close. A campfire is also planned, adding a touch of traditional fun to the holiday camp experience.
For children living outside the Herford district, the cost per child will be 150 euros. For those within the district, the cost is 120 euros. Siblings attending the camp can benefit from a reduced price of 90 euros.
