Detmold's Summer Fair and Bruchmarkt to Take Place from July 18-21
The traditional Summer Fair, known as Bruchmarkt, will be held in Detmold from July 18 to 21. The event will take place in the Bruchberg and Rosental event area.
Organised by the Bezirksregierung Detmold, visitors can expect a variety of attractions, including rides for both adults and children, diverse food and drink stalls, and sweet treats such as donuts, roasted almonds, crepes, and churros.
To ensure a smooth event, Rosental will be closed to traffic from July 16, 7 pm, until July 22, 10 am. During this period, the closure affects the area from Doktorweg to Leopoldstraße. Motorists are advised to avoid the affected inner-city area and use alternative parking spaces at Lustgarten (P1), Kronenplatz (P7), and Wotanstraße/Parkhaus am Finanzamt (P9). Access to the parking garage of the Lange Str. 73 business building will remain possible via Woldemarstraße.
The Rosental bus stop will be temporarily relocated to Doktorweg during the closure. Necessary safety measures will be in place, including barriers and entrance controls.
