In the heart of Stuttgart-Botnang lies the Waldheim Gallenklinge, a popular vacation offer that has been under the management of Alexandra Kratz for quite some time, overseeing the vacation offer and the lease agreement. However, the future of this beloved destination is shrouded in uncertainty as the lease agreement is set to expire in 2026.

For over a century, the Catholic Church has been the steward of the Gallenklinge site, but with the lease coming to an end, the Church is returning the land to the city. Alexandra Kratz, who has been a key figure in the management of the Waldheim Gallenklinge during its tenure under the Catholic Church, will no longer be involved in its management.

The City of Stuttgart will now assume the management role previously held by Alexandra Kratz. Yet, the future development or management of the land by the city remains undecided. The city's building authority interprets the term "Waldheim" narrowly, meaning any future establishment would require a modification of approvals and is not currently granted.

At present, no official decision or plan has been made public regarding continuing the Waldheim or establishing any replacement after 2026. The Catholic parish of St. Elisabeth, which organizes the Waldheim in Gallenklinge, is returning the leased land to the city.

In light of these developments, there is currently no certainty that there will be another Waldheim in Stuttgart-Botnang in 2026 after the lease agreement for Gallenklinge ends. The future of the Waldheim Gallenklinge remains open and undecided, and enthusiasts of this vacation offer will have to wait and see what the future holds.

Alexandra Kratz, who has been managing the Waldheim Gallenklinge for years, will no longer be responsible for its home-and-garden or lifestyle aspects, as the Catholic Church returns the land to the City of Stuttgart. The city's future plans for the Waldheim Gallenklinge site, including its home-and-garden and lifestyle design, remain undecided and unclear.
