Head over to the mellow city of Erlangen, 'cause the Bergkirchweih is in full swing, y'all! From June 5th to June 16th, we're talking chaos of good times and cold beer as this centuries-old fest reaches Fever Pitch.
Erlangen's a mid-Franconian tucked-away treasure, so you mighty fine folks better brush up on your history. Remember, "The mountain calls"? That's the Burgberg, where glory days of yore saw breweries putting their kegs away in those cool cellar tunnels within the mountain range.
Tonight, there's 14 awesomely frickin' beer gardens dishing out fest beers to the masses. Think beer, live music from various bands, and DJs to keep your feet moving. Plus, more than 80 thrill-a-minute amusement rides because, well, who doesn't love a bit of adrenaline?
