Krefeld, Germany - The city is abuzz with excitement as Alexander Scheuß and Maxime I. Plisz have been officially proclaimed as Krefeld's children's prince and princess for the 2025/26 session. The official proclamation ceremony will take place on November 29th at the parish hall of Herz Jesu, Kneinstraße 64.

The two young individuals were chosen for their roles, with Alexander Scheuß starting his "jecke career" by expressing interest in joining the Krefeld children's prince's parade. Maxime I. Plisz, on the other hand, was chosen to be the companion of Alexander Scheuß as the Krefeld youth's guide.

As the children's prince and princess, Alexander Scheuß and Maxime I. Plisz will play a significant role during the local carnival festivities, particularly in events tailored for children. They will participate in parades, attend celebrations, and serve as figures of joy and inspiration for kids during the carnival season.

The Krefeld children's prince and princess's guard is responsible for presenting the designated Tollitäten to the public. This week, the guard presented the Tollitäten, which are related to the Krefeld children's prince and princess.

The roles of Krefeld's children's prince and princess are symbolic and honorary, and they serve to foster a festive spirit among young residents. Alexander Scheuß, as the current children's prince, is no stranger to this tradition, having previously held the role in Krefeld.

As the 2025/26 session approaches, the city of Krefeld looks forward to welcoming Alexander Scheuß and Maxime I. Plisz as the new children's prince and princess, and to the joy and inspiration they will bring to the local carnival festivities.

What about their lifestyle during their tenure as children's prince and princess of Krefeld? Outdoor-living and home-and-garden activities might complement their duties as they could involve attending garden parties, visiting local parks for events, and even planting trees or flowers in the city as part of their responsibilities. For example, they could be invited to open a new outdoor living space at a local home-and-garden fair, or they might join the annual outdoor living festival parade to promote healthy living and appreciation for nature.
