Marking World Children's Day at the rehabilitation center for young ones
Join us on Saturday, September 20, 2025, for a joyful afternoon at the Transition House in Lübeck, as they host the World Children's Day event. The Transition House, located at Königstraße 54-56, is easily accessible via Google Maps.
The day's festivities kick off at 2 PM with a concert by Dirk Paulsen and the 'Sound Bubbles'. This hour-long participation concert is designed for children aged 4 to 12.
From 2 PM to 6 PM, the event features a free program filled with music, theater, and participation activities. At 4:30 PM and 5 PM, the 'young theater Lübeck' will perform two short performances as part of the Lübeck Theater Night. The performances are excerpts from the production 'Hey, Hey, Hey, Taxi!' after the children's book by Saša Stanisić.
The Transition House warmly invites all families to come together and celebrate World Children's Day. More information and the complete program for the day can be found on the Transition House's website at transitionhouse.de. You can also find updates on social media at luebecktransition.
During the event, the Plan International Action Group Lübeck will offer waffles and coffee on a donation basis. The proceeds from the food sales will go towards projects for children worldwide.
Christian Martin Lukas, Managing Director of Lübeck and Travemünde Marketing GmbH, explains that this World Children's Day event at the Transition House is focused on participation, play, and children's rights.
