Gear up for an unforgettable skiing adventure next year as Hilton settles into the snowy landscape of Deer Valley, Utah. The Canopy by Hilton ― a popular hotel chain with a cozy, inviting vibe ― is set to roll out the rug in summer 2024, just in time for the ski season.

This 180-room retreat will celebrate Deer Valley's transformation from a historic silver-mining town to a global ski powerhouse. The resort promises ski accessibility and a lively après-ski experience during the winter months. But winter sports enthusiasts need not be the only ones to enjoy this year-round haven. Apart from ski-centric amenities, guests can unwind at the pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam room or get competitive at the golf simulator.

The hotel's dining options remain under wraps, though. Expect a signature restaurant, après-ski lounge, coffee shop with grab-and-go treats, and a rooftop lounge.

Deer Valley East Village is rapidly growing, with a range of new hotels popping up, including shops, restaurants, residential units, and year-round recreational facilities. In the vicinity, the luxurious Grand Hyatt Deer Valley and Four Seasons Resort with residences are also under construction.

Deer Valley East Village, only 40 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC), is redefining the winter sports experience in Utah. Developed by Extell Development, the company behind the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail and the Park Hyatt New York, to name a few, Deer Valley is ambitious and aims to become one of the largest ski resorts in North America. The upcoming 2025-26 ski season will see an impressive expansion, doubling the skiable terrain to a jaw-dropping 5,726 acres. This will include 37 chair lifts and a mind-blowing 238 runs!

Skiers better not expect any adrenaline-pumping snowboard tricks, though. Since its inception in 1981, Deer Valley has been a strictly ski-only resort.
