Lisbon's Infinity Building Leads in Sustainability with 200 EV Charging Stations

The Infinity building, a luxury condominium by Vanguard Properties in Lisbon, has received a state-of-the-art electric vehicle charging solution. Siemens Smart Infrastructure has supplied and installed 200 VersiCharge wallboxes and an intelligent charging management system, making it one of the most sustainable residential sites in the city.

Standing at 26 floors with 195 apartments and 352 parking spaces, the Infinity building is one of Lisbon's tallest residential sites, covering over 50,000 square meters. The charging solution, distributed over six charging islands across three floors, allows for dynamic and intelligent on-site charging management. This system is prepared for future integration of renewable energy generation and storage systems, supporting global climate targets.

The charging management system includes the latest cybersecurity functionalities and provides precise reports per apartment based on monthly consumption. This not only optimizes energy performance but also aligns with Portugal's recovery and resilience plan. The plan aims to deploy 15,000 electric vehicle charging stations by 2025, with the Infinity building contributing significantly to this goal.

The Infinity building, set to be Lisbon's tallest and most iconic residential spot with sustainability at its core, has embraced the future of energy management. Despite the lack of specific information about the person in charge, the building's commitment to sustainability is clear, with its advanced charging solution and commitment to Portugal's green initiatives.
