Launch of Latest Promotion in Norf Initiates Smoothly

The Ball School at TSV Norf, a significant gain for the community, is an innovative sports initiative designed to foster a love for physical activity among children. This programme, which takes place on Tuesdays from 4:30 to 5:30 PM and Fridays from 4 to 5 PM, encourages children to learn and be enthusiastic about sports in a fun and engaging environment.

The training sessions, held primarily at the VR Bank Arena, offer a variety of sports activities, including soccer, basketball, handball, and more. In case of bad weather, the sessions are moved to the health center located at Eichenallee 8.

Linda Hoffmann, a certified football coach and trainer at the Ball School, expresses her joy in working with children, stating that the programme provides a unique opportunity for young minds to explore different sports. Simon Haas, co-founder of the Ball School and youth coordinator of the TSV handballers, emphasises that the Ball School allows children to try various sports without early commitment, a departure from the traditional approach where children had to commit to specific sports at a young age.

The Ball School is more than just teaching children how to throw, catch, or pass. It focuses on developing fundamental ball skills, as well as introducing children to sports like pick-up hockey and tennis. For the youngest children, the Ball School offers a targeted programme that was previously unavailable, as they were training with older kids.

Interested children and parents are welcome to try out the Ball School. For detailed and specific information about the programme, such as its exact programs or methods, we recommend checking TSV Norf’s official website (www.tsv-norf.de/breitensport/ballschule/) or contacting the sports department directly. For current information about the training location, please contact Linda Hoffmann at 0172/4 10 32 11.

By providing a low-pressure, fun environment for children to try out various sports, the Ball School at TSV Norf is making it easier for children to develop motor skills, coordination, and a positive association with physical activity, motivating them to explore the world of sports.

The Ball School's programme, beyond teaching fundamental ball skills, also introduces young children to diverse sports such as pick-up hockey and tennis, creating a unique lifestyle for them that extends beyond the home-and-garden sphere. As Linda Hoffmann, a football coach and trainer at the Ball School, works with children, she acknowledges the importance of allowing young minds to experiment with various sports, fostering a versatile sports lifestyle.
