Join the Joint Border Hike on Oct 3rd: Explore, Snack, Return Comfortably
Join the joint border hike with citizens on Friday, October 3rd. The event is organized by the Heimat- und Geschichtsverein Haibach, Grünmorsbach und surroundings. Meet at 8:45 AM at the path to the Spatzenbild between Hohe-Wart-Haus and Sendemast. Buses will be available from 7:30 AM.
The hike will start early, with buses heading towards Hohe Wart from 7:30 AM. Participants should wear sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, as the hike will take place regardless of the weather. The route will pass by six boundary markers and go over the Pfaffenberg along the Sodener, Oberbessenbacher, and Hessenthaler border. A free snack will be provided around 10:45 AM, and the final rest will take place at the Sportheim Volkersbrunn.
