High-Tech Facility of Facebook Established at Rockliffe Hall
At our recent stay at luxurious Rockliffe Hall, we were extremely excited to try out a brand-new* skincare treatment, a first for Rockliffe Spa and the UK! This revolutionary treatment is none other than FACE SPAce, a partnership between Rockliffe Hall and illustrious skincare specialist, Comfort Zone. FACE SPAce will unveil its first location outside of Italy, where the concept was born.
The FACE SPAce concept showcases a curated selection of 'active lifting' facial treatments that are inspired by physiotherapy practices to delve deep into facial muscles, relieve tension, and stimulate collagen production. These treatments employ proven facial tools such as cryo spoons, gua sha, jade stones, derma-massage rollers, and micro sonic and microcurrent devices. All components collaborate to boost micro-circulation and enhance elasticity, delivering immediate results.
Let me share my experiences...
Upon arrival, my skilled therapist, Rachel F (F for Fabulous!), welcomed me and ushered me to the Spa Boutique for my FACE SPAce treatment. I was surprised to find the setting here, as I had imagined being led to a subdued, candlelit treatment room. Rachel explained that the FACE SPAce concept is designed to be interactive and offers a progression from traditional facial treatments, aiming for a more modern experience.
Five different treatments are available, each lasting 55 minutes:
- Pump-Up: Enhances the appearance of wrinkles, boosts firmness, and instantaneously lifts.
- Calm & Soothe: A restorative facial to minimize visible signs of stressed skin and fortify the skin barrier.
- Ultra-Glow: Infuses the skin with instant radiance, improving its appearance and texture.
- Detox & Tone: Brightens, smooths, and promotes an even skin tone.
- Ice Splash: Rapidly hydrates for plumpness and a dewy complexion.
I opted for the Ultra-Glow treatment, beginning with a soothing neck massage. The micro sonic sensory device tickled slightly, reminiscent of a close shave - Rachel explained that this aids in cell renewal, unclogs pores, and offers an ultra-deep cleanse. I absolutely adored the gua sha tools, which provided a deep and firm massage.
Rachel worked on one side of my face first and then asked me to dash to the mirror to compare it to the other untreated side. What a spectacle! I was astounded by the noticeable difference. My treated side looked incredibly smooth and radiated an undeniable glow. As a cherry on top, I felt remarkably relaxed during the experience - something I often struggle with. Rachel F truly deserved her name!

TLE Tip:
Remember to wear a swimsuit under your robe, as the treatments require exposure of the neckline and shoulders. It is also recommended to leave at least 20 minutes before wetting your face and to abstain from exposure to extreme heat or cold for at least an hour. If planning on using Rockliffe Spa facilities, it is best to do so before your FACE SPAce treatment.
