I've gone full tilt boogie on wine cork crafts lately, and I ain't mad 'bout it! Sure, the grape juice leaves me cold, but like, who actually drinks it anymore? Nonetheless, I'm still all in for utilizing those pesky corks in crafty projects.
It all started when I designed the wine cork reindeer with my niece, and ya'll loved it! I'd also rocked the wine cork wreath before, and that beauty still glows like a charm! With a sackful of corks purchased from Amazon, the remaining leftovers called for a cork snowman.
This versatile craft suits both adults and kiddies, and you can easily fib about gathering a fortune in corks from boozy fiestas past.
You can craft a whole snowman, including the body, from corks or fabricate a small or large one using separate segments. The choice is yours, baby!
If you're feeling frisky, create a single wine cork snowman (standing on its small end), paint it like a wintry wonder, and affix an eye hook to the top for a wearable ornament with baker's twine.
But if you're like me and want a heartier snowman, construct just the head by stacking corks so it fits niftily in a festive tablescape or on your mantelpiece. In other words, we're ready to feelin' festive!
Drag out your stash of corks, gear up with supplies, and let's get this party started!

Instructions
Pick up around 35-40 wine corks, clean 'em, and let 'em dry.
Create a foundation by stacking and gluing four corks horizontally using hot glue. Once that's set, continue stacking to form the entire head.
Paint the top side of the head with white acrylic paint.
Slicing sharp, cut a mouth from black felt or foam and paste it to the front face.
Carve a nose from orange felt or foam, then draw on carrot dots with the fine tip pen. Stick it to the face brim.
Pop the buttons on as eyes, and you got a friendly face!
Form a hat brim maker by folding and gluing a black strip of felt (roughly 2.5 inches by 7 inches). Curve one end inwards to close it into a circle. Fold this circle inside out, now forming the top of the hat.
Take another black felt strip (about the same size as before), then cut a hole in the center and paste it to the top of the hat to create the brim.
Wrap a red ribbon around the seam, and voila! You got a hatband.
Fasten the hat to the head of your snowman.
