New Year's Celebration in Pforzheim Marked with Fanfares and Drums
Residents of Pforzheim gathered on Waisenhausplatz on New Year's Day, 2018, to celebrate the start of a new year. The event, which was a public affair, featured music from the Goldstadtfanfaren Pforzheim ensemble, under the direction of Oliver Joos.
The concert, a notable event with fanfares and drums, took place after the march-in. The ensemble played a variety of pieces, including the Goldstadtfanfare, Jaeger March, American Fanfare, and Greeting from St. Maur.
Waisenhausplatz, the location of the celebration, was filled with the sound of music as the new year began. For many, the event was an opportunity to meet acquaintances and exchange New Year's wishes.
