Gather at The Tiny House in Brötzingen once more for another round
Pforzheim kicked off its urban initiatives for the year with the revelation of the Quartier | Werkstatt 2025 program
Following the successful conclusion of the 2024 edition, the city of Pforzheim is set to host two interactive sessions for its residents, the first in Brötzingen in June and the second in Dillweißenstein in the fall. From June 23rd to July 4th, the city museum square will be transformed into a creative hub, where residents can engage with the city administration and actively contribute to discussions and collaborations. The Tiny House will once again serve as the event's nerve center, open to all interested attendees.
The program offers a rich slate of activities that cover various urban themes, promoting participation and dialogue. A total of 23 program points are scheduled, ranging from workshops and information booths to open discussions and performances.
Highlights of the program include an opening event led by the Smart City department that allows visitors to explore the future Panoramabad on the Wartberg using VR goggles, participate in a prize wheel game, or take a balloon ride. The Moki playmobile of the city youth ring will visit the site, offering fun skill games, sports equipment, and digital experiences for children.
The mayor, Peter Boch, will participate in the "Mayor on the Spot" format, engaging with Pforzheim citizens, welcoming questions, and addressing suggestions. The Environmental Protection Office will provide a hands-on workshop on how youngsters can help save bees and butterflies. The Weststadt Citizens' Association 1906 e.V. will welcome attendees to the Tiny House and discuss its involvement in the district.
Other city departments such as the Jobcenter, the Mobility and Traffic department, the Cultural Office, the Waste Management of the Technical Services, the Youth and Social Office, the Business Area International, and the City Partnerships with the EUROPE DIRECT Center Karlsruhe will be present, along with organizations like the Kinderschutzbund Pforzheim Enzkreis e.V. and Miteinanderleben e.V., and partners such as Q-Prints & Service gGmbH, the Climate Protection and Energy Agency Enzkreis Pforzheim (keep GmbH), and the Volunteer Agency Pforzheim.
