The state actively supports this development.

Fresh district established: Allotted €3.5 million for Hammfeld-I development

Get ready to delve into the exciting urban transformation unfolding in Neuss, Germany, with the development of Hammfeld I. This project, a fusion of work, live, and play spaces, will breathe new life into the city's urban landscape, much like a sprouting seed in fertile soil.

The soon-to-be-bursting district, nestled between the city center and the winding Rhine, is poised to be a game-changer. In the footsteps of the state garden show, Neuss will transform the former racetrack grounds into a lush citizen's park, forging a verdant connection between the city center and the Rhine meadows. This evolving tableau will offer a respite for the future inhabitants, promising a smorgasbord of recreational and relaxation options amidst the bustling cityscape.

The city council and administration, much like green-thumbed visionaries, have sown the seeds for this transformation with their forward-thinking decisions. Approvals totaling around 3.5 million euros mark the first yield from these seeds, paving the way for promising urban growth.

Mayor Reiner Breuer, a stoic shepherd of this transformation, led Minister Ina Scharrenbach through the construction site. "Behold, a permanent leisure and recreation area is underway. Tucked beside it, we are cultivating Hammfeld I into a novel district, replete with office spaces and a mixed-use quarter teeming with residential developments," he shared.

Christoph Höltgers, Neuss's dutiful deputy mayor, expressed delight over the approval, stating, "With the 3.5 million euros, we can devise strategies for the New Hammfeld and commence essential measures for quarter development and park connection. Following a further funding phase, the green connection through the New Hammfeld to the Rhine meadows will bloom."

Annette Nothnagel, manageing director of LAGA GmbH, marveled at the rapid strides of the construction work, her eyes brimming with anticipation. "The outlines of the new park are already distinct: the path system, the new pond, soon the play and sports areas, which we'll sculpt with urban development funding."

As the minister and her entourage observed the ongoing construction site, they found the perfect opportunity to plant a tree—one among the 2200 destined to turn the park into a verdant urban oasis. Minister Scharrenbach even extended her generosity by sponsoring a 'heart tree', one of more than 250 already bestowed upon the people of Neuss. "This way, the citizens of Neuss are already bonding with their environment, nature, and their park today," said Sandra Breuer, the diligent caretaker of the tree sponsorships, lavished by the association Green Heart.

Urban growth, park development, and the creation of mixed-use quarters are intricate processes, requiring strategic planning and investment. If you seek more specifics about the New Hammfeld development in Neuss, such as current projects, expansion plans, or details on park development and mixed-use initiatives, local government resources or development agencies involved in the project would be your best bet for information. Happy exploring!

The New Hammfeld development, under construction, will offer a fusion of residential, office, and recreational spaces, stimulating a shift towards an 'other lifestyle' that incorporates 'outdoor-living'. This evolved district, intertwining with lush parks and gardens, will promote 'sustainable-living', fostering a bond between citizens and nature in Neuss's burgeoning cityscape.
