Neuwied, a city in Germany, has joined the ranks of Fairtrade Towns across the globe. The city received the prestigious title in 2018, marking a commitment to fair trade and ethical consumption.
Wolfgang Rahn, the spokesperson for the Fairtrade Town steering group, underscored the significance of every contribution, whether it be active participation or choosing fair-trade products. "Every effort counts," he said, "towards creating a fairer world for producers in developing countries."
