Far East Bay Set to Witness Launch of Boichik Bagels' Inaugural Store; Anticipated Arrival in Concord
A highly anticipated addition to the Concord food scene is underway, as the renowned Boichik Bagels, crowned the best in America by The New York Times, will open its first store in the Far East Bay. The popular bagel shop is set to establish its new location near Trader Joe's, close to the Walnut Creek border, within the shopping center at Oak Grove and Treat.
Initially, we learned about the upcoming opening through a friend and reached out to Emily Winston, founder of Boichik Bagels, for more information. Winston revealed that residents in the Walnut Creek and Concord areas have long been seeking a Boichik Bagels location, and she is optimistic about the new store's success given the foot traffic from the nearby Trader Joe's and another new bakery in the same shopping center.
Boichik Bagels founder expresses ambitions to transform the area into a local foodie hotspot and is planning to expand to other locations within the 925 area code. Winston anticipates that the new store may open sometime in late April or early May but will not feature the robotic baking facilities present at the Berkeley factory location.
