Atelier Days 2023 Return to Plön/Ostholstein
The Atelier Days, a much-anticipated local art event, is set to return to the picturesque regions of Holstein Switzerland, Ostholstein, and Plön district on May 31st and June 1st. This 12th edition promises a rich and diverse display of artistic talent, with numerous studios opening their doors to the public.
Art enthusiasts can look forward to workshops, exhibitions, and opportunities to meet artists. Susann Kasten-Jerke, a founding participant of the Atelier Days, will present her abstract paintings in various formats and surfaces at her gallery Sukaart in Ascheberg. Goldsmith Stefanie Krämer, known for her unique gold and silver jewelry, will open her studio at Auestraße 3a in Eutin on weekends.
Visitors can also find an exhibition of ceramic artist Stefani Rautenberg, as well as other artists presenting their work, at Hof Breitenstein. Button artist Annette Dostall and upholsterer Carsten Blunk will also be present at this venue.
Mosaic artist Sabine Köhnke will lead a creative action at The Atelier am Schöhsee on Sunday from 11 am to 1 pm, inviting visitors to design stones as part of the activity. Barbara Wolf, whose art focuses on church windows and watercolor painting, particularly in abstract image creation, will open her studio and garden to guests in Plön (Appelwarder).
Bettina Beggerow from Malente will present special soaps and demonstrate their production at the event. Sven Rixen will show his woodwork, shaped and designed with unusual tools like the chainsaw, at various locations.
Participating venues can be identified by the red chair symbol. Workshops for both adults and children in painting and printmaking will be offered by the painting school in Bosau during the event.
