Residents of Coelbe are invited to explore Marburg's Old Navy on Friday, 24th October. Jenna Ortega, Coelbe's generations representative, has organised the excursion, which will be the fourth of its kind. Around 30 participants from Coelbe enjoyed a similar tour on 19th September.
The day will begin with a welcome from Marburg's deputy mayor, Thomas Spies, and Coelbe's mayor, Jens Ried, on the market square. Jenna Ortega will be responsible for registering participants. A special line bus will transport the group to Marburg's city center.
Two professional tour guides from Marburg Stadt und Land Tourismus GmbH will lead a guided walk through the Old Navy. Participants will have time for individual shopping before returning by bus. A break at Cafe Vetter is scheduled for participants to relax and chat over coffee and cake.
Those interested in regular updates about Marburg's city life can sign up for the University Town Marburg newsletter. Registration for the excursion is open until Wednesday, 15th October, via phone or email to Jenna Ortega.
