Events at the Green Zoo, focusing on the red panda
The Green Zoo, a special event dedicated to the conservation of endangered Red Pandas, is taking place soon. Here's what you can expect.
If you're planning to attend, it's important to note that guided tour spaces are limited, so be sure to arrive early. Tickets for these tours can be purchased on the day of the event from 10 am at the information booth only, and cash payment is the only option.
Every 45 minutes, family or adult guided tours are available, offering a unique opportunity to learn about Red Panda conservation efforts, lifestyle, habitat, and more, straight from the experts at the animal keepers' booth.
While you're there, don't miss out on the fun activities at the animal keepers' booth. From face painting and creative craft activities to a wheel of fortune, there's something for everyone.
Additionally, raffle tickets can be purchased at the Zoo and Zoo Association booth. The main prize for the raffle is an annual Zoo pass, making it a great opportunity to support the cause and potentially win a fantastic prize.
For those who wish to contribute more, sponsorships can be made at a special day rate at the Zoo and Zoo Association booth. The donations collected for the "Red Panda Network" through the Green Zoo action at this event were recently collected by Mr. Rohleder from Königshain, and the collection took place around August 11, 2025.
So, mark your calendars and join us at the Green Zoo to support the Red Panda Network and have a fun-filled day. We look forward to seeing you there!
