Gearing Up for the 11th Aktivoli Volunteer Fair on March 23!
Get ready, Bremen! Over 80 organizations are coming together on March 23 to offer a smorgasbord of volunteer opportunities, from 11 am to 5 pm. This event, held every two years, is taking place at not one, but TWO locations this time: Bremen City Hall and the Church of Our Lady!
Exhibitors, Exhibitors, Everywhere!
From social services like supporting the underprivileged, senior care, and youth welfare, to climate protection initiatives, nature conservation, cultural associations, educational projects, language promotion, sports clubs, leisure groups, and more - there's something for everyone! Interested Bremen residents can chat with organizations, clubs, disaster relief services, and even integration and migration projects (yep, even the German Red Cross and the Volunteer Fire Department will be there)!

It's not just about chatting... we've got a program too! Learn about the Bremen Engagement Guide, the new comprehensive online resource designed to help you understand the ins and outs of volunteering in Bremen (from contacts, funding opportunities, to questions about volunteer work). There's also the Network of Bremen Sponsorships, focusing on pairing up engaged individuals with those in need of support in education, integration, or social participation. If you're excited about democracy and human rights, you'll love the program dedicated to showcasing initiatives that stand up for democratic coexistence, against right-wing extremism, and for human rights.
