Art Meadow Power Place Eco-Festival Delights Visitors in Nizhny Novgorod Region

The Nizhny Novgorod region recently played host to an exciting event - the Art Meadow Power Place eco-festival. Over 1,500 festival-goers spent three days next to the Volga, immersing themselves in art, nature, and the unique ecosystem of Artemovsk meadows.

The health trail, a crucial part of the festival, is an important place for the ecosystem and the birds residing there play a crucial role in maintaining the natural balance. This 15-kilometer path stretching from Podnovye to Stolbishchi coincides with the route that runs along the Volga River.

The flora and fauna of Artemovsk meadows are unique, with around 80% of all bird species in the entire Nizhny Novgorod region residing there. During the festival, rare birds like gray herons were observed flying overhead, adding to the enchanting atmosphere. Informational signs along the health trail provide details about each bird species, making the trail an educational experience as well.

Art activities were organized for children at the festival. Little Nikita Kanatnikova, dressed as a fox, was shaping a sticker from epoxy resin, while Kira Kanatnikova and her friend have already made several "fun" items. Elizaveta Rakova made keychains, pendants, and other items, offering festival-goers a chance to take a piece of the event home with them.

The stage at the festival was never without performers, ensuring there was always something entertaining happening. Ksenia Sheronova, a participant of the "ArtLuga: Place of Power" festival, found the unique bird species and their importance to the ecosystem to be exceptionally positive. Yulia Sharova, another attendee, described the festival as a feeling of power, drive, and interest, enjoying both the performance and nature.

The health trail is free to visit for anyone who wishes, even after the festival's conclusion. This provides an opportunity for anyone to escape the city bustle, connect with nature, and enjoy art throughout the year. The eco-festival "Art Meadow Power Place" was indeed a memorable event that brought together art, nature, and the community in a beautiful and unique setting.
