Digital platform launched for community gatherings and events in Greifswald
The city of Greifswald has launched a new online portal named evenkoo for event announcements, aiming to streamline the process for all involved in event organization and management. This user-friendly platform offers a central location for authorities to check and process announcements faster.
With evenkoo, event areas or routes can be marked on a geocart on the portal, making it easier for authorities to understand the event layout and potential impacts on traffic, safety, or neighbours. The portal also allows for the convenient uploading of documents, eliminating the need for PDFs to be filled out and sent.
Publicly noticeable events, such as festivals, concerts, markets, sports events, parades, or similar formats that take place in public spaces or are large enough to affect traffic, safety, or neighbours, must be displayed through this portal. Private parties on a small scale are not included in the events that need to be announced through evenkoo.
The city continues to answer questions as usual by phone or email at veranstaltung@our website, ensuring that event organizers receive the necessary assistance. The portal guides users step by step through the necessary information, making it easy for everyone to use.
Deadlines for event announcements are monitored more effectively on evenkoo, ensuring that all important dates are met. For organizers, this means faster feedback and better coordination of their events.
The coordination of the new online portal evenkoo! is managed by the institution "RLP Tourismus GmbH." The link to the evenkoo portal is: https://portal.our website/anzeige. Only essential information is required for each event on the portal, making it quick and easy to announce events.
Organizers can save an announcement, continue it later, or submit additional documents on the portal, providing flexibility and convenience. With evenkoo, the city of Greifswald is taking a significant step forward in event management, making it easier for everyone to host and attend events in the city.
