In the heart of Poland's capital, the 29th International Poster Biennale in Warsaw 2021 showcased an array of outstanding poster art from designers across the globe. This prestigious event, known for its commitment to minimalism, universality, and strong visual economy in design, provided an inspiring space for designers to explore ideas freely.

One such designer was Arek Haratym, Senior Graphic Designer & Creative Team Lead at Branding & Communications. His socially and artistically impactful poster titled "Syzyf," created during the Plakaton poster design marathon, received an honorable mention at the Biennale. This recognition marks a significant milestone for Arek, who considers it an incredible feeling to see a project that started as an internal creative challenge receive such prestigious recognition.

Plakaton, a creative initiative launched by Branding & Communications during the Carbon Footprint Summit last autumn, provided an opportunity for designers to delve into themes such as sustainability, diversity, and well-being. The upcoming edition of Plakaton promises more creative adventures, offering a platform for designers to showcase their talents and contribute to meaningful visual storytelling.

Another notable participant from Branding & Communications was Thanutcha Panvichean, a former Graphic Designer at the company's website. Her vibrant poster promoting themes such as sustainability and diversity was displayed at the Biennale's main exhibition. Thanutcha's work at the Biennale demonstrates the creativity and passion within the Branding & Communications team.

Designers from the Polish agency Admind were also internationally recognised at the Biennale. Besides Arek Haratym, Maciej Raczyński, a student designer from Admind, won the Gold Medal in the students' competition "STEPS." This competition emphasised conceptual development and creativity around the motif of "STEPS." Maciej's gold-winning piece exhibited strong creative expression, marking it as the top student work.

The award ceremony for the 29th edition took place on July 5, 2025, at the Czapski Palace in Warsaw, marking the official inauguration of the Biennale. The student exhibition was hosted at the gallery of the Institute of Industrial Design, showcasing a global representation of student creativity.
