This new service, known as "Sofort-Lieferung" or express delivery, is available for selected products with a maximum weight of 23 kilograms and dimensions not exceeding 100cm x 60cm x 50cm. To check if a product qualifies for express delivery, customers should look for the relevant indication on the product page on Media-Markt's website.
To avail of the express delivery service, customers must place their orders during the store's opening hours, at least an hour before closing time (5 pm). Orders are made by selecting the "Sofort-Lieferung" option in the shopping cart during checkout.
The delivery method varies depending on the size and weight of the product. Smaller items will be delivered by bicycle, while larger items may be delivered by motor vehicle. Media-Markt has partnered with Uber Eats Germany for these express deliveries.
The express delivery service is available in many cities across Germany, with a delivery radius of 6 kilometers "as the crow flies" from the Media-Markt store. Customers can track their deliveries in real-time for added convenience.
The service fee for express delivery is 4.99 euros. Upon delivery, customers can confirm the order upon agreement of a password.
