The Art Museum in the Stables in Paderborn is hosting an exciting event called "Tatort Paderborn 2025", which is part of an exhibition series focusing on the city's public space. This year's edition, titled "Der Fluss bin ich" (I am the River), invites young people aged 10 to 18 to engage artistically with Germany's shortest river, the Pader.
The two-day workshop, scheduled to take place at the Art Museum in the Stables, will involve collecting sounds, building models, mapping impressions, and transferring these into digital spaces. The combined work from the workshop will form a multi-layered image of the river, with sound collages, speculative miniatures, and virtual environments being created during the event.
The workshop is a unique opportunity for participants, both with and without disabilities, to work together and explore the river's ecological, social, historical, and cultural aspects. The final presentation of the workshop's results will take place on October 4, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
