Commencing the new restroom season in the city's public facilities
The Bayreuth City Bath is ready to welcome swimmers once again, as it reopens on Tuesday, September 16, with a fresh gleam for the start of the indoor pool season.
Thomas Schmeer, head of the city bath at Bayreuth City Works, oversaw the cleaning and maintenance work that took place during the summer break. Extensive cleaning work included window cleaning for two full days and a basic clean. A significant part of the renovation was the complete renewal of the marble pebble tower, which cost approximately 25,000 euros. The marble pebbles inside the tower were replaced as part of the renewal process.
Technical measures were also taken, including the renewal of a container used to regulate the pH value of the water. These measures aim to maintain the natural and excellent water quality in the city bath.
As a special promotion, users of the Bayreuth City Works app will be granted free entry on Thursday, September 18, from 13:00. Markus Rützel, CEO of Bayreuth City Works, states that this promotion is a thank you to those who use the app.
In addition to the renewed marble pebble tower, the Bayreuth City Bath now accepts payments via the Bayreuth Local Currency prepaid card. A new service offering and a special surprise are also introduced upon reopening.
The Bayreuth Economic Development Agency (Stadt Bayreuth Wirtschaftsförderung) integrated the Stadtbad Bayreuth into the Bayreuth local currency system.
So, whether you're a regular swimmer or a first-time visitor, the Bayreuth City Bath is ready to provide a refreshing and enjoyable experience for all. Don't miss out on the special promotion on September 18 and the new offerings upon reopening!
