Justina Bauer's beloved children's book, "Franz and Theresa - Ghupft wia gsprunga!", has been brought to life in a captivating audiobook. The production features a unique blend of traditional and modern music, composed especially for the audiobook, and performed by some familiar faces from the Bavarian entertainment scene.

The audiobook is narrated by none other than Luise Kinseher, a well-known German actress who has graced the stage in series such as "Café Meineid" and "Munich 7". She is joined by Florian Brückner, a versatile actor known for his roles in numerous German television productions, including "Tatort" and "The Mountain Rescue Team". Since 2023, Brückner has played the successor to Master Eder in the series "New Stories from Pumuckl".

The music for the audiobook is a collaboration between members of the Well family and Stofferl Well from the "Biermösl Blosn", a popular Bavarian band. This musical fusion adds an extra layer of authenticity to the stories, which take place in the fictional Bavarian village of Anting.

USM Audio, a Munich-based publisher, approached Bauer for the audiobook production. Bauer, a Penzberg resident, published her first children's book about a year ago and enjoys attending events with children, often engaging in activities like Schuhplattler dancing and learning "Neinerln".

In an expression of her delight, Bauer shared, "I am thrilled with the way Luise Kinseher and Florian Brückner perform in the audiobook." The audiobook was released in cooperation with the Bavarian Association for Homeland Care.

Currently, six stories from Bauer's book have been released as an audiobook, with two new stories for download and streaming from the "Franz and Theresa" series set to be released in the next few weeks. Furthermore, Kinseher is working on six more stories for the winter, which may also be released as a CD.

For Kinseher, homeland, family, and tradition are not fixed categories, but can be found and redefined by every generation. Events for the fall are already planned at the open-air museum Glentleiten and the planetarium in Garching, promising more opportunities to immerse oneself in the enchanting world of "Franz and Theresa".

Luise Kinseher and Florian Brückner, known for their roles in various German television productions, have lent their voices to the audiobook adaptation of Justina Bauer's children's book, "Franz and Theresa - Ghupft wia gsprunga!" The audiobook, a collaboration between USM Audio and the Bavarian Association for Homeland Care, also features music from the "Biermösl Blosn" band, adding a touch of home-and-garden charm to the story that takes place in the fictional Bavarian village of Anting, reflecting the lifestyle of the region.
