Benjamin Blümchen, the beloved children's character, is set to return to television screens with a new animated series, airing on Toggo starting June 2, 2025.
Aimed at pre-school children, the new series will showcase 26 episodes, each with computer-generated visual effects. The series will be available for viewing on RTL Super's children's programming block (Toggo) from 10.10 AM daily, until 8.15 PM.
Toggo offers streaming options on its website (toggo.de), the Toggo app, and RTL+, ensuring accessible viewing for young audiences. The series is a production of the children's label Kiddinx.
Benjamin Blümchen, the main protagonist, returns with his big heart and joined by his friends, including Otto and popular characters such as reporter Karla Kolumna, zoo director Tierlieb, and animal keeper Karl.
The new episodes bring a modern twist to the original series, maintaining its heartwarming stories centered on values such as friendship, imagination, and helpfulness. vTogether with Otto, Benjamin will engage in various adventures, demonstrating the power of teamwork and problem-solving skills.
The new animated series marks a revival of the iconic character created by Elfie Donnelly. In the 90s, the character's adventures were already depicted in an animated series, and cinema releases followed. This latest iteration seeks to meet the expectations of today's audience by utilizing advanced CGI animation.
