Cagoni Snack Bar: A New Gem in Wittenberg's City Centre

Nicole Behrendt, the new proprietor of Cagoni Snack Bar, is eagerly anticipating her long-awaited vacation, but not before she wraps up the busy summer season at her popular establishment.

Taking over from master butcher Karl-Heinz Vader following a brief renovation period, the Behrendts have breathed new life into the snack bar, moving it to Wittenberg's city centre. According to Nicole, this strategic move has proven to be a success.

Cagoni Snack Bar offers a diverse menu, with popular lunch options such as goulash, pasta with tomato sauce, hunter's schnitzel, and simple schnitzel. The establishment also boasts a selection of cold cuts, cheeses, salads, sandwiches, ice cream, and cake, all prepared fresh daily. Nicole herself prepares the salads in the kitchen each morning, while her mother-in-law, Carola Eggert, bakes the cakes until her recent retirement.

The snack bar employs five staff members, three of whom were taken over from Vader. With 80 to 90 seats, 35 of which are outdoors, Cagoni Snack Bar has become a welcome addition to Wittenberg's city centre, attracting customers who often come from work or the doctor.

In addition to its regular operation, Cagoni Snack Bar will have a stand at the City and Harbor Festival on Bahnstraße for the first time. The festival, taking place on August 23rd from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., is expected to draw a large crowd, providing an excellent opportunity for the snack bar to showcase its offerings.

However, the snack bar will close for a brief period from September 6th and reopen on September 22nd for the vacation season. During this time, Nicole Behrendt will take a well-deserved break, ensuring she returns refreshed and ready to continue serving the community.

The sausages served at Cagoni are sourced from Stralsund and Perleberg, ensuring a high-quality product for their customers. Nicole values feedback from her patrons and has not made any changes to the assortment so far, preferring to maintain the traditional charm that has made Cagoni Snack Bar a beloved spot in Wittenberg.

For the most accurate and recent information about the popularity of Cagoni Snack Bar, it's recommended to check platforms such as Google Reviews, TripAdvisor, Yelp, or local German review sites. These often provide customer ratings, feedback, and insights into the snack bar's popularity. Additionally, social media pages for the snack bar or local community forums might offer up-to-date opinions and experiences.

The Behrendts, headed by Nicole, have revitalized Cagoni Snack Bar's lifestyle, moving it to the heart of Wittenberg's city center and diversifying their food-and-drink offerings. Their renovated establishment, now a hub of home-and-garden appeal, invites patrons with a variety of options including goulash, pasta, sandwiches, and freshly baked cakes.
