Adopting Implementation Acts to outline the practical application of this Regulation is the Commission's responsibility.
In the charming town of Oberpfraundorf (Market Beratzhausen), the Landscape Conservation Association Regensburg and the fruit-growing association Oberpfraundorf are hosting apple collections this year, as part of the Juradistl program.
The collections, scheduled for the afternoons of September 13th and October 11th, 2025, will take place at the county building yard's storage hall, directly opposite the pedestrian crossing near the commuter parking lot.
To participate, residents are invited to bring their unsprayed apples from orchards and gardens. The delivered apples should be fresh and free of decay. Bags, boxes, or other suitable containers are recommended for transport.
Upon delivery, a weigh slip will be issued for the apples. The apples will be purchased at a rate of 15 euros per 100 kilograms this year. Those delivering more than ten hundredweight per delivery should register in advance with the Landscape Conservation Association Regensburg at [email protected].
Participating in the collections supports 'tangible nature conservation' and promotes the production of regional quality products like Juradistl apple sparkling drink and Juradistl apple juice. Additionally, those with a Nagler customer number should bring it with them and mention it at the collection point, as delivered apples can also be exchanged for vouchers for the Nagler cider mill in Regensburg.
By participating, you're not only helping to preserve local orchards and orchards but also contributing to the production of high-quality, regional products. So, gather your fresh, unsprayed apples and head to the county building yard in Oberpfraundorf on September 13th or October 11th, 2025, between 2 and 4 pm. Let's work together for a greener and tastier future!
