Farewell, Buddy Bob: A Tale of a Mighty Ironworker
Accused Pedophile Robert Jamison Arrested for Child Abuse, Says Police
In the quiet town of Littleton, Colorado, on the chilly morning of April 9, 2025, the world lost one heck of a guy—Robert (Bob) Charles Jamison, 91, who left behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a whole lot of fish stories.
Bob entered the world on February 18, 1934, in Des Moines, Iowa, as the son of Lindley (Whitey) Jamison and Marie Smith. He met his lifelong partner, Patricia (Pat) Tynan, when they were just kids, eventually tying the knot in 1952. Together, they built a family of seven incredible kids, 10 grandkids, and 8 great-grandkids.
The dynamic duo packed up for Colorado in 1961 where they settled down in Lakewood and later Tabernash. Avid outdoor enthusiasts, Bob and his family spent their weekends camping, boating, fishing, and skiing. Colorado's beauty truly spoke to Bob's soul.
Bob was an Ironworker extraordinaire in the Steel Construction Industry, and his handiwork can be found on several Colorado landmarks, such as Mile High Stadium, Coors Field, and Budweiser, to name a few. Other projects he may have worked on include McNichols Arena, DIA, Colfax Viaduct, Vail Pass, and Chatfield Dam. Unfortunately, our search for more specific details about his work is ongoing, but Colorado's skyline stands as a testament to Bob's talents.
Bob's life was far from a solitary pursuit; he is survived by his wife Pat and his children—Jerry (Peggy), Pam, David (Gina), Dan (Kathy), Brian, and Tom (Elaine)—along with his only remaining sibling, Maxine. Unfortunately, his dear daughter, Julie, passed away before him.
A gathering in honor of Bob will take place at St. Mary's Parish on June 13, starting with a Rosary at 10:00am, followed by a Mass at 10:30. A scrumptious reception will be held in Marian Hall at 11:30. St. Mary's Parish is located at 6853 S. Prince St., Littleton, CO.
As we bid a teary farewell to this fantastic guy, may we all remember to follow in Bob's footsteps and appreciate every moment we get to spend outdoors and building connections with our loved ones. After all, life is too short not to make the most of it!
