A stylish and subtle Easter tablescape: ditch the pastels for a more organic and neutral look

A Less Extravagant Easter Table Setup

Looking to shake things up this Easter and create a tablescape that's a bit more subdued? You're in the right place! In this guide, I'll show you how to create a stunning, organic Easter tablescape using neutral colors and textures that still screams Easter.

So, can I pull off an Easter tablescape without all the pastels and bright colors? Absolutely! Gone are the days of overloading a table with too-sweet pastels. Instead, lets focus on creating a beautiful table with soft, natural elements and a neutral color palette. The result? A table that still screams "Easter" without being too in-your-face.

I was inspired by this cute, polka-dotted brown wrapping paper that I've been saving for just the right project. It makes the perfect base for our holiday table, and it's simply placed in the center, secured with masking tape hidden beneath each end of the table. On top of that, I added a black and cream colored runner.

Our centerpiece features these fabulous open lanterns. I purchased them a few months ago and couldn't wait to share them with you! (Unfortunate for some, they've sold out in no time.) But don't worry, I've reached out to the company, and they'll be restocking soon! (Keep an eye on my *Instagram stories* for updates and a shopping link.)

The lanterns are filled with various organic and neutral elements. The trick to filling large lanterns like these is to use an odd number of pieces of varying heights and lots of texture to create visual interest.

Now that we've got our centerpiece sorted, let's move on to the place settings. Each setting consists of a round, ruffled burlap placemat, topped with one of my everyday white dishes, then an adorable black and white gingham bunny napkin, topped with a burlap colored salad plate. For a final bunny-inspired touch, I've nestled an adorable black and white gingham bunny napkin in the faux greenery of tiny pots (intended as place card holders).
