New Saxdor 460 GTC and 320 GTWA Models Unveiled

Saxdor, a leading manufacturer of compact day cruisers, has announced the launch of two new models – the Saxdor 460 GTC and the 320 GTWA.

The Saxdor 460 GTC, the company's largest model to date, is a 46ft flagship boat designed for comfort and practicality below deck. The lower deck layout typically includes a double berth cabin suitable for overnight stays, a small enclosed head compartment, a compact galley area, and additional storage spaces and seating to maximize the use of space within the 4.6-meter hull length.

However, the lower deck layout of the Saxdor 460 GTC, particularly the aft cabin arrangement, is not yet fully detailed. It is expected that the usual owner's double and a separate head-shower compartment will be present, but the presence of an extra third cabin or a larger version of the 400's current second cabins is uncertain. No interior renderings or layout drawings have been shared for the Saxdor 460 GTC yet.

The Saxdor 460 GTC shares similarities with the Saxdor 400 GTC, including a full-width wheelhouse with sliding side doors leading to drop-down balconies. The drop-down balconies extend around a third of the boat’s length and have large glass inserts. When folded flat, they will be at the same level as the saloon floor, increasing the deck area and allowing guests to walk in and out of the side doors.

The wheelhouse of the Saxdor 460 GTC is expected to feature a galley-up layout with dinette seating and a starboard-side helm console. The port side of the wheelhouse is left free to access the usual pantograph hinged door leading out to the big foredeck lounge.

Saxdor is also planning to launch a walkaround version of the Saxdor 320 GTC, named the 320 GTWA. The 320 GTWA features a slimmer wheelhouse with a reverse-angled windscreen and walkaround side decks. No date has yet been set for the launch of either the Saxdor 460 GTC or the 320 GTWA.

The Saxdor 460 GTC sports a twin-step hull and is powered by three engines, but the specific type (V8 or V10) remains unknown. The boat is aiming for a top speed of 50 knots from the largest engine option.

For detailed and exact schematics, it is best to consult official Saxdor brochures or their website, as the lower deck can vary slightly with customization options. Further information about the boat's performance specifications and pricing is not yet available.
